OPEN CALL TO TAKE PART IN HÉCTOR ZAMORA’S NEW WORK FOR PROTOTIPOAK
Azkuna Zentroa - Alhóndiga Bilbao invites the public to participate in the performance of “Txirikorda”, the project created by Mexican artist Héctor Zamora for Prototipoak Bilbao 2025, the International Biennial of New Artistic Forms.
Designed as an action and installation specifically for the center's terrace, “Txirikorda” explores the relationship between textiles, geometric shapes, and the surrounding architecture.
The piece will be activated through two performances with key participation from volunteers. Their action will consist of waving the installation's fabrics, creating an ethereal movement and a poetic gesture that seeks to caress the building's architecture. Azkuna Zentroa will select the group of participants for this artistic experience through a specific call.
