Throughout this activity we will examine the connection between plants and folk medicine, popular culture and tradition, and the use of different elements from nature

“Bosques Viajeros” for children

According to the classical authors, it was thanks to trees that we were able to cross the oceans to discover new worlds, build our homes, carve images of the gods. In this workshop we explain the importance of trees in the past and present, the things wood has traditionally been used for and its symbolic value in society and culture.Thursday:

  • Thursdays: July 8 and 22 / August 5 and 26
  • Saturdays: July 3 / August 14 / September 11
  • Terrace

“BroadWindow” for children

The installation by Diego Sologuren and Sébastien Tripod dialogues between architecture and coexistence with plants and animals.

The visit will consist of two parts: a first in which we will talk about insects and their importance in our environment and, with different materials, we will create our own version of an insect. In the second part, we will access the exhibition space to visit the internal part of the installation and collaborate in it by placing the insects that we have created.

  • Thursdays: July 29 / August 12
  • Saturdays: August 21 / September 4
  • Txikiteka. Floor 1 of Mediateka.
